What is the lowest you will take?

I would say, think about where the comic book market was when you were a kid and where it is now. ART has always defied recession, inflation, and surpassed value of money over time. In recent times, you may have noticed values increasing at an accelerated rate due to movies coming out on superheros etc. However, just recently the government has printed trillions of dollars. Do u think holding your money in the bank is going to increase it's value? Could this be the one major reason why people have elected to park their money in comic books thus increasing values every year since early 2000s. Unlike stocks, bonds, and junk financial instruments, comic books not only increase in value but for many they have sentimental value. Which means people hold on, which means they increase in value. Yes, at some point people let go of these treasures as they get close to retirement or pass them on to their family.

Now, try passing your money from your bank off to kids and see how much of your wealth passes in estate taxes.

So from this prospective the question should be what value will this be in a year, 2 years, etc. History tells us, that it will continue to increase as more people understand the economics of preserving money in assets that are resilient. There is no guarantee in any thing, but in my comic collecting experience I had no regrets except for not buying that Incredible Hulk #1 when I had then chance because I asked the same question, what is the lowest you will take? Regret #2 selling my ASM #1 10 years ago.

In my opinion, comics are not junk bonds (bitcoins) that are fraudulent and go to zero value. They are not companies that go bankrupt. Vintage Comics are self-sustaining. With comics you will be able to at least sleep at night knowing you hold a treasure.
