Circle 8 Pedigree

Discovered on 1989 and eventually purchased by Greg Buls in 1991 the Circle 8 collection was intitally treated as a pedigree.  The collection was amassed by Edward Kerber from Tuscon, AZ, and consisted of a combination of newstand comics, collections, and newstand overages which contained multiple (sometimes 50-200) copies of  some issues.  Well known for it's high grade 50s horror books, high grade multiple copies of early Marvels, the 90,000 book collection got it's name from the small percentage of books that were marked with a grease pencil circled "8" on the cover.
