This one is one I'm really proud of! Mr. Adams has been coming to Planet Comicon for the last few years and each year that he has been there, I have picked up a sketch cover from him. Green Arrow was first, then Green Lantern, then in 2017, I wanted a Deadman. I picked up a "quickie" Deadman sketch at the same time as the Green Lantern sketch cover. I love Neal Adams' work but I didn't want another profile sketch from him. I approached him and asked about a full face Deadman, along the lines of the cover to #1 of the 1985 series. We haggled a bit and he didn't want to do the "sad face" but promised me that I would be happy with what he did do. Man, was he right! He knocked it out of the park on this one.
