The Walking Dead #109

Each chapter of Telltale's Walking Dead has a chapter image. The image forseason 2's "Amid the Ruins" chapter really caught my attention. Combined with the title, the image of series protagonist Clementine smearing blood on her face while flanked by several, mysterious, shadowy figures felt like a powerful and tragic image and I really wanted to see that painted on a comic cover. The subtle shifts in colors in the sky, I thought, was quite important to capture and thought acrylics would be the best way to represent it.

I found artist Mark Bloodworth online and was quite inpressed with his horror-themed paintings and thought he would be the perfect artist to bring Amid the Ruins to this Walking Dead blank cover.
