I bought this in 2013, then hand-delivered it to Susan Cicconi at the Restoration Lab. She gave it back to me, beautifully (and mildly) restored, in February 16, 2014. Here is what she wrote:

"Still the most sought after and desirable book in the marketplace today. I know you're thinking that it would be worth more left unrestored but I tried that. My customer wanted his copy to look and be as healthy as possible (by the way, my favorite kind of customer).

This book was weak along the spine, cover was browning and highly acidic rendering it a bit fragile. Page quality of interior was very supple. Pages were de-acidified for longterm preservation. The book will never degrade in composition or esthetic quality. Ready for Stan Lee's signature...who is in his Platinum Years!"
