Mr. Wirghtosn drew himself on this cover, he's the one in the red shirt. I had a copy of this book set aside to get signed by Bernie Wrightson and had planned to ask who the other man on the cover is, but that simply wasn't meant to be. The mystery man looks similar to Marv Wolfman, but there is no reason for him to be on the cover as he wouldn't arrive at Marvel for about another year after this was published. I suspected Roy thomas but can't find a picture of him with a beard, pluse the hair is wrong. I suspected maybe Barry Widnsor-Smith and while looking for a photo, I found a pic of Michael Kaluta from the time that is a dead rigner except that the part in the hair is on the wrong side. I found this particular copy, one of four signed and the lowest graded of those copies. I'm thrilled to have it but would really like to know who the mystery man is.
