Synopsis:Marilyn's mother convinces her not to elope with Bud, who doesn't have a regular job and makes his living as a "promoter." Marilyn's father takes his wife and daughter on a drive, and reminds his wife how poor they were when they were first married, but how they were happy and how eventually things turned out all right for them. Marilyn's mother changes her mind and Marilyn is reunited with Bud.

However, Bob tells her that he tried to love someone else, but Brenda is the only woman for him. They reconcile.

Marty tells Ellen that Judy has been coming on to him, and Ellen gets angry at her sister. Fred breaks up with Judy when he learns of the accusations. However, Fred changes his mind and forces Marty to confess his lies. Fred and Judy get married.
